Calder Private started from a simple observation: the people with the least time to plan travel are usually the ones with the most complicated travel to plan. Every existing option asked them to do more work — download an app, compare options, manage bookings themselves. Calder does the opposite. One line, one person, everything handled.
Calder is built in Houston, working closely with the city's founders, executives, and family offices — the people who already run on referral and reputation, and who value a concierge that operates the same way.
Calder doesn't own jets, hotels, or cars. We're intentionally asset-light — we own the client relationship and the network of vetted providers, not the inventory. That keeps us unbiased in what we recommend and fast in how we move, the way firms like Amalfi Jets have proven out in private aviation.
Calder Private is built by a Houston founder who grew up around the city's business community and kept noticing the same thing: the people running companies were the worst-served by the travel industry built to serve them. Every "premium" option still asked for their time — an app to learn, a portal to check, a call center to sit on hold with.
Calder was built to remove that friction entirely. Not a bigger platform, but a smaller one — a single point of contact who knows how you like to travel and handles it without being asked twice.
